Flacka Says Alleged Lul Pab Hit Price Fell From $1 Million to $10,000 — But He Claims He Never Got Paid

A cooperating witness in Lil Durk’s federal murder-for-hire trial has given jurors a striking account of the alleged financial arrangement surrounding the 2022 killing of Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, the cousin of rapper Quando Rondo.

Keith “Flacka” Jones reportedly testified that the alleged price for the hit was initially discussed as $1 million, but that figure was eventually reduced dramatically first from the million-dollar amount and ultimately to approximately $10,000.

According to Flacka, however, even that much smaller amount was never paid.

The witness told the court that he repeatedly sought the money after the killing, allegedly asking six or seven times. Each time, he said, he was given a reason why the payment had not been made.

“There was always an excuse,” Flacka reportedly said.

The testimony provides another potentially significant piece of the prosecution's case as prosecutors attempt to establish the alleged financial motive behind the shooting.

Lul Pab was killed in Los Angeles on August 19, 2022, during an attack that prosecutors allege was connected to a broader revenge plot targeting Quando Rondo. Rondo survived the shooting.

Flacka's account is particularly notable because it allegedly describes a dramatic collapse in the value of the promised payment. What was initially characterized as a $1 million bounty eventually became a claim for just $10,000 — yet, according to his testimony, he received nothing.

The witness also reportedly described repeatedly attempting to collect what he believed he was owed after carrying out his part of the alleged operation.

That testimony is likely to face intense scrutiny from Durk's defense attorneys, who have sought to challenge the credibility of cooperating witnesses and their accounts of the alleged conspiracy.

The defense has previously questioned whether witnesses who have pleaded guilty or are cooperating with prosecutors have incentives to portray Durk as the central figure in the alleged plot.

For prosecutors, however, Flacka's testimony could help establish their theory that money and promises of payment played a role in the events surrounding Lul Pab's death.
