Popular Kikuyu gospel musician Njeru Thiga has today travelled to India to receive treatment for his adrenal cancer.
This was actually disclosed by his fellow gospel musician Karangu Muraya, who has been supporting him since he disclosed that he had the disease.
Karangu Muraya actually took to his Facebook account and shared photos that showed how Njeru Thiga was at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with his wife, whom he was travelling with to India.
Other people were also present, and they had come to bid farewell to them before they embarked on the long journey
It should be noted that Njeru Thiga has actually managed to go to India because several Kikuyu celebrities, as well as well-wishers, decided to raise money for his treatment.
The Ti Tuhu hitmaker actually needed to have Kshs 3 million in order for the adrenal cancer to be treated in India, but unfortunately he did not have the money.
Among the people who contributed money for Njeru Thiga's treatment is President William Ruto who gave Kshs 2 million and the Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, who gave Kshs 500,000.
