A new piece of alleged footage involving Daejon Love is drawing attention after he reportedly asked the same woman he had been courting to find someone who could loan him $4,000 so he could keep a luxury vehicle he had just purchased.
In the recording, Love allegedly tells the woman that the vehicle was originally priced at around $120,000, but the particular car he selected ended up costing an additional $4,000 to $5,000.
Love reportedly claimed the dealership's bank was threatening to cancel the transaction and take the vehicle back if the outstanding amount was not paid.
He then allegedly asked the woman to spend several minutes thinking about people she knew who might be willing to lend her the money.
“So I just need you to take 10, 15 minutes and just think about who you have that can loan you $4,000.”
The request has attracted particular attention because of Love's alleged claims about his own financial status.
According to prosecutors, Love allegedly presented himself online as a professional football player and used another persona portraying him as a wealthy Swiss investor.
